"Golf is like life. You can make a good shot and get a bad lie. Or you can make a bad shot and get a good lie. Play the ball where it lies."
At the age of 66, I've been a widow now for nearly 8 years. After a rather extended period of grief and transition, I'm finding a lot of comfort and enjoyment out of golfing with my widowed and otherwise single lady friends who enjoy golf as much as I do.
In that spirit, I thought it would be fun to start a blog on all things golf for women in their senior years. I'm just an Old Bag enjoying my senior years, looking for like minded people.
This picture above was taken at Bear Mountain Golf Course in Chelan, Washington. I've traveled extensively and golfed many courses. This is one of my very favorites anywhere. One of the great benefits of playing Bear Mountain is that even if you're having a bad game, the amazing views help ease the pain.
The other course in Chelan is the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course. The municipal course also has excellent views and also leaves a lasting impression of their challenging elevated greens.
Who wants to join me in my journey through life as a Senior Golf Bag?
